ECB has been the leading organic baker in Eugene for 10 years or so. The selections keep getting deeper, and the quality is fabulous. I especially buy their artisan bread loaves and they are all excellent. Occassionally I get the cherry chocolate one which is simply decadent! I ususally go directly to the sotre, but also but their loaves at the supermarket, or at Farmer's market. A community asset.
Pros: Quality, use of organic ingredients
Cons: Sometimes they run out

This bakery sells great ciabatta and many breads a la campana along with great breakfast sweet rolls, the best specialty bread in Eugene as well as lunch to go. The bakery supplies many restaurants as well as selling at the Saturday Farmer's Market on Eugene's Park Blocks. The line there is always long . . . for the best reason.
Their bread is just out of the oven first thing in the morning and at 4PM.

A+ quality on fine breads, pastries, etc. Wish they had as many specialty breads like they used to, but try the sweet potato walnut when it is in season. Wonderful!
