Distance and Trail Rating: 10K, 6K 1+
Start Point Address / Driving Directions:
Eugene Water & Electric Board, 500 E. 4th Ave. From I-5, Exit 194B (West I-105/ 126/Eugene). Exit 2 from I-105 (Coburg /UofO/Autzen Stadium). Follow Downtown ramp, & get in right lane. Cross bridge, exit first right at 3rd Ave. One block to left onto Mill St. One block to left onto 4th Ave. Right into EWEB Customer Service Entrance parking. Event Description: Walk 10km or 6km (7km with 1km festival option) on paved sidewalks, a short, dirt path & a few stairs thru “Track Town USA” and three exciting arts and athletics festivals. For an entrance fee, the 25thAnnual Art & the Vineyard Festival features over 140 artist booths, music & food. Artists’ Marketplace hours: 11am-8:30pm Saturday and 11am-7pm Sunday. You may take a break and attend a free 2008 Oregon Bach Festival event during your walk at noon Saturday or 1pm and 3pm Sunday. Eugene is hosting world-class athletes competing in the 2008 US Olympic Team Track & Field Trials. Between 10am and 10pm both days the free Eugene 08 Festival next to University of Oregon’s Hayward Field has the competition on jumbo video screens, entertainment, food court, sports bar, and more.
