“Gilham has a wonderful atmosphere and some really talented educators. They make a great effort to teach reading to kids at their level, to encourage a sense of community and responsibility, and to welcome parents as volunteers and visitors. It is too bad that Oregon funding levels force large class sizes, but Gilham does a good job of trying to meet everyone's needs.
