Surrounded by the hills and forests of the Willamette Valley, Eugene Portland is one of Oregon's most beautiful cities, offering a great blend of history, art and culture. It may sound ironic, but some of the best places to grab a burger are: Le Bar, Le Bistro, La Cote d'Ivoire and Le Cafe. It's just a perfectly grilled burger, like the one you'll find at the creatively designed Le Bar in Eugene, Oregon.
We sat outside on the terrace and watched everything, enjoying chilaquiles and agate lemonade filled with Absolut. It was a great experience and I'm looking forward to seeing more of it, so I'll definitely be back.

TV shows MMA fights and Ducks games, down below there are drinks and pool tables, up above has been rooting. It is a cozy, casual sports bar, but it is also a great place to spend a good time with friends, family and friends.
The menu is extensive and offers many pasta dishes and curries, but the best is the seasonal pumpkin curry, which will keep you waiting all summer for its release and you will never regret ordering the in-house Mac and cheese. The catfish is as tasty as ever, while the sides are the good south side of the state. While the menu changes, evolves and transforms on a monthly basis, crab crackers topped with a spicy jalapeno-chilli sauce, fried chicken tempeh, fried squid and fried sweet potatoes are just as much a part of the menu as the delicious avocado cheesecake. It's still gorgeously decorated with illustrated items, a must - try their roast pork belly with mashed potatoes and spicy cornbread jalsapenos.
If you are visiting and want to show all that Eugene has to offer, look no further. If you prefer to take the First Friday Art Walk, the Cuthbert Amphitheatre is the best, while you can picnic in Alton Baker Park or sit in the sitting area. The largest museum in the city is the Eugene Museum of Art, which houses some of Eugene's best works of art and Oregon's largest art collection.
Although Ninkasi does not have its own kitchen, take-out drinkers can take the chance to choose one of the many gourmet snack carts on the terrace to serve good home-made takeaway dishes. It also has a wide selection of beers and wines, as well as some of Eugene's most popular craft beers. Kettles - boiled bagels - are only available at the Bagel Sphere in Eugene, but other local breweries such as beer, wine and spirits are all available.
Unmistakable is the name and skill of Thor Slaughter, but perhaps it's also because he's one of the best bartenders in Eugene, and perhaps even the world. Everything he makes uses ethically responsible ingredients from the region and his cocktails are creative and original. Its specialities are vodka, gin, whisky, wine and spirits, as well as its characteristic cocktails. This spot wouldn't feel out of place in Portland (except for the price), but its ingredients - all organic, all regional, ingredients - make a spot that won't cause any problems.
The roast is the best in town and is sold in other stores, but the Mariota milkshake, which comes with biscuits and gravy, is the real deal. The cafe's distance from campus means it's easy to hide away without worrying that too many cheap students order coffee and work three hours. At least that stopped me from going in there, and I'm glad I did.
